Company Ford plans to present updated family Mondeo (sedan, hatchback, universal) in the end of 2010. Espionage photos of a prototype of the future novelty have been published by Dutch edition Autoweek.

Predictably, Mondeo will receive only minor alterations in appearance: a new forward bumper with the big trapezoid air inlet, the modernised lattice of the radiator, new headlights with light-emitting diode section and modifed back lanterns.
