Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE

When opened, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano set a new standard in performance, which remains a reference for the development of new sports cars to date. Now Ferrari is introducing the new Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HgTe (Gran Turismo Evoluzione manipulation) package for the model to others emphasize its sporty character and handling.

The package contains a modified set-up with stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar and new calibration parameters for magnetic dampers, when manettino is sporting its parameters. The ride height is lowered, which lowers the center of the car of gravity. This, combined with the new set-up helps to improve body control. The package also includes tires specifically optimized with a drug that offers a better grip.
Car Electronics has developed to ensure a faster response to driver inputs. F1 transmission changes are now the fastest high-performance settings, when the new software strategy engine has improved accelerator response.

The muffler was also amended with the result that produces a more distinctive and interesting in use while offering the difficult level of perfect comfort at highway speeds.

From a design perspective, the package also contains some decidedly sporty interior and exterior carbon fiber is widely used in the second. 20 "split rim wheels are new with a special cut diamond, silver and matte finish. The rear speaker is finished in matt black to emphasize the car's new creation, and highlighting the chrome exhaust pipes. Cabin is sporty thanks to a sophisticated blend of full-grain leather, black Alcantara ® and carbon fiber trim.

Ferrari 599XX

Ferrari 599XX, although based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the transverse axis and provide the same type of engine, a race car is great. Ferrari engineers have done significant work in the engine combustion chambers and intake and escape routes. These changes, combined with the fact that the internal wear is reduced and speed increased to 9,000 rpm,

which helps to achieve the target power of 700 hp at 9000 rpm. Special attention was paid also to reduce the weight of the unit of engine components. This was achieved both by optimizing the shapes - and the new crankshaft - and the adoption of exclusive materials such as carbon fiber used by the full admission. A new strategy gearbox cuts shift times by 60 ms overall.

The Ferrari 599XX is characterized by innovative e-called "high-performance dynamic concept", which was designed to maximize the car's performance by managing the combination of the mechanical limits of the car with the potential of its electronic controls.

Mechanical and electronic systems to work together to get the most out of the car under the guidance of high-end performance for consistent lap times. Sporty handling has been improved through the adoption of second generation system SMC suspension. Control of use is also facilitated with the new "virtual automotive engineer," a screen in the car that provides real-time indication of the effectiveness of the vehicle.

2012 Ferrari FF Silver Review

The FF is an interpretation Ferrari-new Grand Tourer Sport concept. It is only the first four-wheeled Ferrari, but, more significantly, greets a major break with the past by combining extreme performance with the ease and versatility of a true GT and a very innovative design.

The Ferrari FF offers innovations everywhere, starting with the fact that it is equipped with the first Ferrari V12 engine, which is the direct-injection V12, with the first seven-speed dual-clutch. The new engine hits 660 hp at 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 683 Nm at 6000 rpm, 500 Nm available at 1,000 rpm. The Ferrari FF has a spectacular performance of a sports car very extreme: 0-100 kmh acceleration in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 kilometers per hour. It also provides excellent results in terms of efficiency with a fuel cut only 15.4 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions to 360 g / km, a reduction of 25% over the previous V12. These achievements are due in part to HELE (high-low emission emotions), which also includes Stop & Start system.
Ferrari FF also ensures that the extraordinary performance in a field with very low adhesion coefficients with the Ferrari of his own patented drive 4WD four wheel drive. The couple is still supplied by the rear wheels, but PTU (Power Transfer Unit) to ensure that as much as necessary is also transferred to the front wheels when required on surfaces with low grip. Ferrari FF intelligently distributes torque to all four wheels individually, due to the fact that all the Vehicle Dynamic Control (E-Diff and F1-Trac and PTU) have been integrated into a single processor.

2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am

2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
2011 for a private test session at Florida's Daytona International Speedway, the 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am will be back in action on 26 and 27 July, after making its track debut at home in Fiorano, completing nearly 50 test laps. Based on Ferrari's European GT3 racecar and co-developed with Michelotto Automobili. MARANELLO, Italy — Ferrari will take the still-evolving Grand Am racing version of its 458 Italia to the Daytona International Speedway early next week, as the Italian automaker continues to develop the 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am ahead of its anticipated entry next year in the 2012 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series.
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
“We are pleased with the performance of the 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am,” commented Antonello Coletta, Head of Ferrari Corse Clienti. “Especially when one considers the fact that, after its shakedown in Fiorano, this is its first real test. It has definitely passed the exam and over two days, we completed around 90 laps with any particular reliability problems. Hard to judge its speed, given that we were the only car on track and had no reference point for the times. However, at the moment, this is not a main concern as our primary interest is in evaluating the behavior of the 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am in the light of the various modifications made to it, to conform to the series regulations."
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
The Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale owned Ferrari F458 Italia was built specifically for Rolex Sports Car Series competition and completed 174 trouble-free laps at competitive speeds during a two-day session at Daytona International Speedway. "Today was a tremendous improvement over yesterday," said Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale team principal Ronnie Vogel. "We've got good feelings about the 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am, and the drivers were very comfortable out there. We had a great time, and now we're really looking forward to the 50th Rolex 24 at Daytona."
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
"We're planning to run two cars in the Rolex 24, and hoping to take delivery of the second car very soon," Vogel said. "We're also working on our driver lineups for the Rolex 24 and next season, and that's being ironed out now."
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
The 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am is built to match the American regulations and is therefore different to the European car, especially in that it develops 500 horsepower and has less efficient aerodynamics than the GT version. It is also fitted with a 48 mm restrictor and maximum revs are 8000. Significant modifications have been made to the braking system, as the car has neither ABS nor traction control.
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
The 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am is fitted with tyres from Continental, the sole supplier to the series, featuring a very hard compound, again to conform with the series regulations. On its shakedown today, it completed a good number of trouble-free laps, 45 to be precise in the hands of Maurizio Mediani and Jaime Melo, as they took turns at the wheel.
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
Daytona recalls many memories of past Ferrari victories in the famous 24 Hour race, the company having close links with this important event. In fact, Ferrari has taken part in 47 of these endurance races, winning five of them outright as well as taking 15 class wins.
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am
2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am is a highly innovative cars and sporty, therefore, has a lot of people who can not wait to see the appearance of the Ferrari 458 Italian Grand Am anymore. With a design that has been designed with advanced concepts, will make the 2012 Ferrari Sport Cars 458 Italia Grand Am became more interesting and cool.

2011 Ferrari 599 GTO

Three years ago, I would’ve told you it would be near impossible to improve upon the 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. After all, the V-12 berlinetta proved quicker to 60 mph than even the vaunted Enzo, taking just 3.2 seconds. But that was before Ferrari invited us to test out the new 2011 599 GTO at Autodromo del Mugello, a 3.3-mile ribbon of undulating asphalt located in a lush green valley not far from Florence, Italy.

In producing the 599 GTO—the fastest-ever Ferrari road car, at least in terms of lap times around Ferrari’s home track (Fiorano)—the engineers in Maranello, Italy, focused on four key areas: increasing power, decreasing weight, reducing understeer and improving downforce. Tall orders, yes, but Ferrari learned great lessons with its track-only 599XX, and the 599 GTO you see here is the result of a marriage between the 599XX and the 599 GTB Fiorano.

Ferrari says the GTO’s 6.0-liter V-12 is “about 90 percent of the 599XX’s engine.” Internal friction was reduced by 12 percent compared to the GTB. Besides adopting the 599XX’s crankshaft and intake system, the GTO V-12 has new connecting rods and pistons, raised 11.9:1 compression (up from the GTB’s 11.2: 1 ratio) and the 599XX’s lighter (and 8-decibel louder) exhaust—with catalytic converters, of course. The result is 661 bhp at 8250 rpm and 458 lb.-ft. of torque at 6500 rpm, which make the 599 GTO the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever.

Compare those figures to the GTB (611 bhp at 7600 rpm and 448 lb.-ft. at 5600) and you’ll note the power has moved up the tachometer. In other words, you need to rev the GTO, but this certainly isn’t a problem; as with all Ferraris, the 599 GTO is designed to be wound out high and hard, allowing you to bask in a glorious, hair-raising cacophony that’s accompanied by the most wondrous snap, crackle and pop from its exhaust with each shift. Ferrari says upshifts from the 6-speed single-clutch F1 gearbox have been reduced to just 60 milliseconds and downshifts take just 120 milliseconds. The 599 GTO can also perform multiple downshifts by simply holding in the left carbon-fiber paddle shifter (just as on the 599XX). The downshifts are always perfectly timed, accompanied by soul-stirring throttle blips.

Besides being more powerful, the 599 GTO is 220 lb. lighter than the GTB (which weighed 3865 lb. on our scales). But the GTO is no stripper—the interior remains as fantastic and exotic as ever (a notable change being the exposed aluminum floor) and still retains creature comforts such as air conditioning and power windows—it probably has a stereo, too, but why would you listen to that when you have a wondrous V-12 soundtrack?

Nearly every area of the car was put on the chopping block in an effort to shave pounds. The transmission is 18 lb. lighter, and the exhaust has been trimmed of 29 lb. thanks to hydroforming technology that allows thinner tubing and fewer welds. Brembo also managed to take almost 7 lb. out of its carbon-ceramic brake system, adding ceramic pads for the first time on a road car. Ferrari says these brakes were absolutely required to cope with the 599 GTO’s increased performance level.

Items such as thinner windows, an aluminum trunklid and a lighter aero underbody contributed to a further 68 lb. savings, while the interior is some 73 lb. lighter due to highly bolstered, carbon-fiber-backed seats with grippy (but very un-Ferrari-like) fabric inserts, lots of matte-finish carbon-fiber trim and a lightweight suede material in place of what would usually be leather.

2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45

2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
The Ferrari sports car was build for Peter Kalikow, a Ferrari collector from New York, the rich people, who is a real estate entrepreneur, to celebrate that he’s a Ferrari client and driver for 45 years. The Ferrari Superamerica 45 is styled internally by Ferrari Design and engineered and built in-house. The sports car features an unique roof system which opens the roof-top by fliping it backwards.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
The Special Projects Ferrari Superamerica 45 is a unique one-off model. The 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 model was built in-house and styled internally by Ferrari Design, making its public debut on the 20th of May at the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza. When open, the roof is housed by an entirely new boot, while the design appears to be bespoke, featuring a carbon-fiber rotating hard-top which integrates a rear screen.
The 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 is built around an aluminium spaceframe chassis similar to the limited production 599 Aperta roadster. Power comes from the very potent V12 also used in the 599 GTO. Based on the engine originally used for the Enzo, it produces well over 650 bhp. This is transferred to the rear wheels by a semi-automatic gearbox, which is operated by paddles behind the steering wheel. Carbon ceramic discs ensure that the 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 can slow down as fast as it can accelerate.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
Like 400 Superamerica Cabriolet, the new 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 is finished in a lovely metallic blue paint, which is further accentuated by blue carbon-fibre sections and polished aluminium A-pillars and wing mirrors. Additional vents in the front wings and a spoiler on the tail set the car further apart from the 'standard' 599. The latter was a necessary addition to create sufficient downforce and stability at high speeds. The interior is refined by a carefully selected combination of Cuoio leather trim and Blu Scuro carbon fiber details. The driver will also enjoy a latest-generation touch-screen infotainment system.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
While the 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 did make its public debut at Villa d'Este, it was not yet officially delivered. Ever the perfectionist, Kalikow pointed out several details that still need changing before the car is really 'ready'. Among them were the lining on the roof, which will most likely be changed to the same tan leather as the rest of the interior and the door handles, which still need to receive the Kalikow's initials as previously seen on the 612 Kappa.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
When Kalikow does take official delivery of the car, he intends to use it extensively on the road, like he does with a vast majority of the fabulous Ferraris in his collection. We, particularly, can't wait to see the Superamerica 45 next to the 400 Superamerica Cabriolet that inspired this project.

Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi

Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The name “Pavesi” is also shared with an Italian go-kart engine manufacturer. Dubbed 612 GTS Pavesi, the latest product from Ferari's own customization program is named after an Italian manufacturer of go-kart engines, Luxist reports. Until Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari launches the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti at next year’s Geneva Auto Show, we’ll just have to settle with a one-off version of the model. Ferrari builts exclusive modification supercar 612 Scaglietti for one of its customers, which was called GTS Pavesi and there is only single copy.
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
This particular 612 was allegedly done by Ferrari’s in-house customization program, and also sports cars a Tubi exhaust and an apparent output of 550 horsepower, a custom exhaust system and some extra 20 horsepower for a total of 550 hp. A special version of a supercar has a new roof with two removable sections that turn the car into the likeness of Targ, two-tone paint finishes, another front bumper, a different exhaust system, as well as boosted from 540 to 560 horsepower 5.7-liter gasoline engine dvenadtsatitsilindrovy. Standard Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is capable to accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in four seconds and reach a top speed of 315 kilometers per hour. Dynamic characteristics modification Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi not yet known.
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The power of the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi comes from a 5.7-liter V12 engine that develops 550 hp (410 kW) and 443 lb ft (600 Nm) of torque, which is more than standard. We bet the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time and the top speed have also been improved on the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi in comparison to the standard car. This unique Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi supercar also comes with a pair of removable carbon-fiber roof panels up top, a revised front end and a unique two-tone silver and black paint scheme.
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The 612 Scaglietii has entered in the Ferrari stable in 2004, designed to replace the 456 M. The name of the 612 one-off is taken after the home town of one of Ferrari's coach builders, Carozzeria Scaglietti. The 612 stood out from other Ferraris thanks to the large side scallops and the headlights that are reminiscent of the 375 MM. The engine used on the 612 is an 5.7 V12 that was also used on the 575 Maranello, the Tipo F133E that produces 533 hp and is able to propel the car to a top speed 315 km/h (199 mph).
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The name “Pavesi” is also shared with an Italian go-kart engine manufacturer, giving a clue to who the owner may be. The carbon fiber roof must have cost a lot to engineer and install, and only an industrial magnate would have the budget for such an expenditure. No official details of the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi have been released and probably never will.
